Rooftop Fall Protection for a Major Distribution Facility — Wixom, MI
Non-penetrating warning line and guardrail system across a large-scale distribution and fulfillment center
The Engineered Solution
Following initial contact and a site survey conducted via satellite imagery software, Tritech designed a system tailored to the facility’s specific rooftop layout. Multiple fall protection approaches were evaluated before selecting the combination of warning line stanchions and non-penetrating guardrail that best met the client’s passive protection requirements.
Non-penetrating warning line & guardrail system
The completed system combined warning line stanchions to define safe work zones with non-penetrating guardrail at roof edge locations requiring full barrier protection. The modular system was designed for replication across the client’s broader facility network. Installed February 2025.
