1. About this policy

This policy explains how Tritech Fall Protection (“Tritech”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you use this website, submit a form, call us or agree to receive messages from us. It should be read with our Terms of Service.

We design, supply, install and inspect fall protection systems for businesses. Most of the information we handle is business contact information from people asking about work at their sites.

2. What we collect

What you give us. When you fill in a form we collect what you enter: usually your name, company, work email, phone number, city or postal code, details about your site and project, and any files you upload such as drawings or photos. If you call us, we have your phone number and what you tell us.

What is collected automatically. When you use the site, we and the services listed below collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example the ad, search or link, and campaign codes in the address), and the date and time.

Calls. Calls to the phone numbers on this site may be recorded and transcribed, for quality, training and so that we can follow up accurately.

3. How we use it

• to answer your inquiry and send it to the territory manager for your area;
• to prepare assessments, proposals and quotes, and to carry out and support the work you ask for;
• to follow up by phone, email or, if you opt in, text message;
• to send occasional updates if you opt in, which you can stop at any time;
• to understand how the site and our advertising perform, and to improve them;
• to keep the site and our forms secure and protected from spam;
• to meet legal, accounting and safety record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

4. Who we share it with

• Our team: the territory managers, sales and project staff who handle your request, in our United States and Canadian companies.
• Service providers who work for us under contract: website hosting (WP Engine, Cloudflare), our customer management system (monday.com), email delivery, spam protection (CleanTalk), call tracking (CallTrackingMetrics), and the analytics and advertising services listed in section 5.
• Others when required: if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or our legal rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, some of them set by the following services:

• Analytics and site improvement: Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar, which show us how visitors use the site, including recordings of page interactions with form entries masked.
• Advertising: Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn and OpenAI (ChatGPT ads), which measure whether our ads lead to visits and inquiries and may show our ads to past visitors.
• Business visitor identification: Apollo, Leadfeeder, FullContact, LiveIntent and Primer, which may match a visit to the company, and in some cases the business contact, it came from, so we can follow up with organizations that are researching fall protection.
• Email marketing: Klaviyo, which sends the occasional updates you opt in to and records whether they are opened.
• Calls: CallTrackingMetrics, which shows a tracking phone number so we can tell which page or ad led to a call.

We also keep the address you first landed on and the site that referred you, so we know which pages and campaigns lead to inquiries. You can change your choices through the cookie settings banner on this site, and block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work, although some features may not.

7. Email

We reply to your inquiry by email. Marketing updates are only sent if you opt in, and every one includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to stop at any time using the contact details below.

8. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as we need them to respond, to carry out and support the work, and to meet legal, tax and safety record-keeping requirements; installation and inspection records may be kept for the life of a system. Information we no longer need is deleted or anonymized.

9. Security and where it is stored

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections and limited access, to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it.

We are based in the United States. Our Canadian company operates tritechfallprotection.ca, and some of your information may be stored or processed in Canada.

10. Your rights

Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of your personal information. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To use any of them, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request. You can also opt out of targeted advertising through the cookie settings on this site, and your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal is honored where the law requires it.

11. Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
