Tritech Fall Protection Systems™ has designed Roof Walk systems for all types of applications. Our unique support system allows for access to rooftop equipment and fixtures while helping to evenly distribute weight loads and, in most cases, without roof penetration. This permits workers to walk safely on an anti-skid surface that has no seam distortion and does not place excessive stress on the roof.
Tritech Fall Protection Systems™ offers a complete line of Roof Walks that are compatible with most types of roof systems. Tritech Roof Walk systems are custom designed for installation on more that 20 of the most popular metal standing seam designs. Our Roof Walk can run perpendicular, parallel and even diagonally to the roof system. There are three basic elements to each system:
- Steel-plank grating (Galvanized plank grating features a surface that provides 100% slip resistance)
- Hardware clips (Custom-designed support clips for connection to support plates)
- Support Plates (Galvanized custom support plates that allow for connection to various roof profiles)
Roof Walk systems can be an integral component in any fall protection enhancement program. When a Roof Walk system is combined with a Tritech Fall Protection system, the result is total mobility and the virtual elimination of any and all hazards to the worker.
