Theme Park Fall Protection Systems
There are some unique challenges with providing a safe workplace within a park and Tritech have great experience in this environment. Parks are designed with upmost safety for the guests and we are required to provide the same level of safety for the staff behind the scenes.
An important factor in this industry is concealment of the safety systems so as not to spoil the original visual design and aesthetic. Whether you need low profile protection for you pyrotechnicians when setting charges on rooftops for the next evening parade or a vertical lifeline to protect workers while climbing a 150-foot ladder to access a coasters first drop, we have the solutions.
OSHA and ANSI (CSA for Canada) standards are always met and our professional engineering staff work closely with the site engineers to resolve the potential loads that may occur in a fall. Our engineering and design team are also accustomed to working closely with the attraction designers on new builds and are often asked to participate in the initial planning and design phase of a new attraction. (We are signing non-disclosure agreements)
If your team are maintaining a one-off attraction behind the scenes, cleaning and waxing a fiberglass chute on a water slide, performing a daily inspection of a wooden coaster, dressing the set for a seasonal change, rigging for a new musical event, or at 4AM your maintenance technicians are working at height on your latest attraction’s cars in preparation for park opening time, we have solutions to aid in these hazards of working at heights.
